Giving – Hampstead Garden Suburb Free Church

For Free Church funds
HGS Free Church is a charity. The church depends on the giving of those associated with the church, and the money generated from the rental of the church building and church hall for its income.

For social action projects
We support a variety of social action projects and are pleased to receive any gifts for any of our projects:

Colindale foodbank - we collect food after church each week to take to the food bank. Whilst this is suspended due to the pandemic, we encourage people to donate through the Colindale Foodbank website
Water Aid - we collect small change to give to water aid
Clothing exchange - we invite people to bring good quality used clothing for others to take free of charge ( presently suspended)
Dennis Scott Unit - we support activities to improve the in-patient experience of those with acute adult mental health problems in our local unit
Night Shelter - we collaborate with the charity Together in Barnet, who ran a night shelter across the Borough every night of the week for homeless people. HGS Free Church hosted Tuesday night in our church hall before the pandemic.

Please send gifts using a BACS transfer to the church account, labelling the transfer with the project name you would like to support.
